  1. Lead and oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality management system across all global operations of the biopharmaceutical company.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
  3. Provide strategic direction and guidance to the quality team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.
  4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality processes and systems.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  6. Monitor and assess quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into all aspects of product development, manufacturing, and distribution.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on quality-related issues and provide guidance and support to teams across the organization.
  9. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  10. Develop and manage the quality budget, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to support business objectives.
  11. Foster a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organization through training, communication, and recognition programs.
  12. Stay current with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and approaches to enhance quality operations.
  13. Represent the company in interactions with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry groups, and partners.
  14. Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's mission and values, and promote a culture of ethics and integrity.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Quality Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Quality Systems, Regulations, And Industry Best Practices.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Key Leader In The Organization, The Executive Director Quality Should Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Inspire And Motivate A Team, Drive Results, And Make Difficult Decisions When Necessary.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements For Pharmaceutical And Biotech Products, Including Fda, Ema, And Other Relevant Agencies. This Will Ensure That Amgen Remains Compliant With All Applicable Regulations.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Executive Director Quality Will Be Responsible For Driving Continuous Improvement And Ensuring Quality Throughout The Organization. They Should Have A Track Record Of Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving, With The Ability To Identify And Address Potential Quality Issues Proactively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Key Liaison Between Different Departments And External Stakeholders, The Executive Director Quality Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Information And Build Strong Relationships With Team Members, Senior Leadership, And External Partners.
