  1. Develop and implement informatics strategy for R&D division in alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead a team of informatics professionals to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement data and technology solutions to support R&D efforts.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in informatics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  5. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure effective delivery of informatics solutions.
  6. Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  7. Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the informatics team.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.
  10. Represent the R&D informatics function in various meetings and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  11. Collaborate with other functional leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of informatics solutions across the organization.
  12. Drive the adoption and utilization of informatics tools and solutions within R&D to improve efficiency and productivity.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and provide strategic recommendations.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies governing data management and informatics.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on informatics-related topics and provide guidance and support to the R&D team as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In R&D Informatics, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Track Record Of Managing Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Informatics Technologies And Platforms Used In Drug Discovery And Development.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Informatics Strategies To Support R&D Processes And Decision-Making.
