  1. Conduct statistical analysis: Perform statistical analysis on clinical trial data using various software and techniques to support drug development decision-making.
  2. Develop statistical plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop statistical plans for clinical trials, including sample size determination, randomization, and statistical methods.
  3. Interpret data: Utilize statistical expertise to interpret and communicate results of analyses to stakeholders, including senior management, clinical teams, and regulatory authorities.
  4. Ensure data integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical trial data by overseeing data management processes and conducting quality control checks.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry standards: Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to biostatistics and clinical trial design, and implement best practices within the company.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as clinical operations, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to provide statistical input and support for clinical trial design and analysis.
  7. Lead statistical discussions: Lead discussions and meetings related to statistical analysis plans, study design, and data interpretation with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Mentor junior staff: Provide guidance and support to junior biostatisticians, including reviewing their work and providing training and development opportunities.
  9. Contribute to publications: Contribute to the writing and review of statistical sections of regulatory documents, such as clinical study reports and submissions to regulatory authorities.
  10. Maintain confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and security of clinical trial data and adhere to all relevant privacy and data protection laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Biostatistics, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Statistical Methodologies And Their Applications In Clinical Trials.

  • Experience Managing And Leading A Team Of Biostatisticians.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Statistical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
