- Lead and manage the biostatistics team to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of statistical support for clinical trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design clinical trials, including developing statistical analysis plans and sample size calculations.
- Utilize statistical software to analyze and interpret clinical trial data, ensuring accuracy and quality of results.
- Communicate complex statistical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Review and validate statistical analysis results and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of statistical methodologies and processes to improve efficiency and quality of statistical analyses.
- Mentor and train junior biostatisticians on statistical methods and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advances in biostatistics, and apply this knowledge to improve statistical practices within the company.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of statistical analyses.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and participate in meetings with regulatory agencies, as needed.
Advanced Degree In Biostatistics Or Related Field (E.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology)
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Biostatistics In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Setting
Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design, Statistical Methods And Data Analysis
Proficiency In Statistical Software, Such As Sas Or R
Demonstrated Leadership And Project Management Skills, With Experience Managing A Team Of Statisticians And/Or Data Analysts.
