  1. Lead a team of biostatistical programmers to support clinical trials and drug development efforts.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including statisticians and clinicians, to develop and implement statistical programming strategies.
  3. Develop and maintain programming standards and best practices for the team.
  4. Oversee the creation and validation of analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  5. Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of programming outputs.
  6. Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and mentoring.
  7. Review and provide feedback on statistical analysis plans and study protocols.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality in programming activities.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in statistical programming and incorporate them into the team's processes.
  11. Communicate project updates and progress to key stakeholders.
  12. Manage vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance.
  13. Participate in the hiring, performance evaluation, and development of team members.
  14. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the team and across the organization.
  15. Represent Amgen at industry conferences and events related to biostatistics and programming.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Biostatistical Programming, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Sas Programming And Other Statistical Software, As Well As Experience With Database Management And Data Manipulation.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Oversee Multiple Clinical Trials And Projects Simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Programming Standards And Processes, As Well As Ensuring Compliance With Regulatory Guidelines And Industry Best Practices.
