  1. Develop and optimize biologics manufacturing processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Conduct process scale-up and technology transfer activities to ensure successful commercialization.
  3. Design and execute experiments to support process development and troubleshooting efforts.
  4. Utilize statistical analysis and data interpretation to drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing yields.
  5. Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, batch records, and protocols.
  7. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  8. Participate in process validation activities and assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions.
  9. Stay current with industry advancements and new technologies in bioprocessing to drive innovation and efficiency.
  10. Mentor and train junior team members on bioprocessing techniques and best practices.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to evaluate new technologies and potential partnerships.
  12. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs.
  13. Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols to ensure a safe and ethical work environment.
  14. Represent Amgen at industry conferences and events to showcase our innovative biotechnology processes.
  15. Actively contribute to the company's mission of developing life-saving medicines for patients in need.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Biotechnology Or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cgmp Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Proficient In Process Development And Optimization, As Well As Scale-Up And Technology Transfer.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work Effectively In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
