Job Description

Amgen is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate IS – Safety ART for Signal & Risk Management.   1. Analyze safety data: Review and analyze safety data to identify potential risks and ensure the safety of patients using our medicines.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with various departments, including medical, regulatory, and clinical, to develop and implement safety strategies and initiatives.
  3. Mitigate risks: Utilize your expertise in safety and risk management to develop and implement strategies to minimize potential risks associated with our medicines.
  4. Ensure compliance: Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  5. Monitor safety trends: Monitor safety data and identify any emerging safety trends or concerns, providing recommendations for potential actions to address them.
  6. Participate in safety reviews: Contribute to safety reviews and signal detection activities, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  7. Communicate effectively: Effectively communicate safety information and updates to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including presenting data and findings in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Maintain accurate records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety data and related information, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  9. Stay current with industry trends: Continuously stay updated on industry trends and developments in safety and risk management, and apply this knowledge to improve processes and procedures within the company.
  10. Uphold patient-centric approach: Demonstrate a patient-centric approach in all aspects of the role, keeping the well-being and safety of patients as the top priority.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Systems, Computer Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Safety Signal Detection And Risk Management Within The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Pharmacovigilance Regulations And Guidelines, Such As Fda And Ema Requirements

  • Experience With Signal Detection And Data Mining Tools, Such As Oracle Argus Or Sas

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Senior Management.
