  1. Provide exceptional care to the animal models used in our research and development projects.
  2. Promote the physical and behavioral well-being of our animal models through enrichment activities.
  3. Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of the animals, including administering medications and treatments as needed.
  4. Follow established protocols and procedures for animal husbandry, handling, and care.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of animal health and behavior observations.
  6. Collaborate with research and development teams to ensure that animal models are used effectively and ethically in experiments.
  7. Regularly clean and maintain animal housing areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  8. Identify and report any abnormal animal behavior or health issues to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Participate in training and continuing education programs related to animal care and welfare.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies regarding animal welfare and research.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to coordinate animal care and research activities.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve animal enrichment and care practices to ensure the highest level of well-being for our animal models.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and compassionate manner when interacting with external stakeholders, such as veterinarians or animal welfare organizations.
  14. Maintain a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the animal care team.
  15. Continuously demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare and the company's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Animal Facility Or Veterinary Clinic Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Animal Care And Welfare Regulations, Including Usda And Aaalac Guidelines.

  • Experience With Implementing And Maintaining Animal Enrichment Programs.

  • Ability To Accurately Record And Report Animal Health And Behavior Observations.
