Treasury Analyst

Ameris Bancorp is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support related to the treasury function of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, and a commitment to accuracy and excellence.The successful candidate will need to have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and at least three years of experience in a treasury-related role. Prior experience in a financial institution and knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices is preferred. A CTP certification or other related certifications are also desirable. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as this role requires providing reports and presentations to senior management. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and report on the treasury functions of the organization, including cash flow management, liquidity management, and debt management.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for treasury operations in accordance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
3. Monitor financial market trends and recommend strategies to optimize the organization's treasury operations.
4. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management.
5. Monitor and analyze cash flow and liquidity, and recommend strategies to optimize financial performance.
6. Oversee banking relationships and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
7. Monitor and analyze financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
8. Keep up to date with financial regulations and industry best practices.
9. Support other departments and provide financial advice and guidance, as needed.
