Enterprise Risk Analyst

Ameris Bancorp is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Risk Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the field of risk management and has the drive to ensure the safety and soundness of our organization.The Enterprise Risk Analyst will play a critical role in our growing risk management team. This professional will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management best practices, as well as monitoring and assessing risk exposures across the organization.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in risk management and/or internal audit, with a focus on enterprise risk management. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.We are looking for an individual who is a team player, but also has the ability to work independently and take initiative. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor risk management best practices across the organization.
2. Analyze and assess risk exposures, identify potential areas of risk, and develop mitigating strategies.
3. Monitor and review risk management policies and procedures.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of risk management education and awareness initiatives.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that risk management strategies are being properly implemented.
6. Develop reports and documentation related to risk management and internal audit activities.
7. Perform research and provide advice on risk management related topics.
8. Assist in the development of risk management strategies and processes.
9. Participate in internal and external risk management audits.
10. Support the development of risk management tools, such as risk assessment models and scorecards.
