Job Description

American University is looking for a highly organized and motivated leader to join our team as the EdD Program Coordinator. This position will be responsible for providing support to the EdD Program and faculty, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of academic administration and be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.Required Qualifications:• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership or related field• At least three years of experience in academic administration• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and related software• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and professionalism• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse population• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and accreditation standards• Familiarity with the principles and practices of student advising and support services
