  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve the technical claims process and drive overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the technical claims team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely and accurate claims handling.
  4. Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and regulatory agencies.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies and procedures.
  7. Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources to achieve business goals.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  9. Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to continuously improve processes and stay ahead of competitors.
  10. Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote AIG's technical claims expertise.
  11. Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the technical claims team.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve the claims process.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims data and provide regular updates to senior management.
  15. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in the insurance industry and incorporate them into the technical claims strategy.

  • Extensive Experience In The Insurance Industry: A Strong Background In The Insurance Industry, Particularly In Claims Management, Is Crucial For A Vice President Technical Claims At Aig. This Should Include A Deep Understanding Of The Claims Process, Industry Regulations, And Emerging Trends.
