Welcome to American International Group! We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Vice President to join our team as the leader of our Financial Institutions Claims department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of claims related to our financial institution clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success and growth of our organization. To excel in this position, you must have a thorough understanding of the financial industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex claims.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Financial Institutions Claims department.
  2. Lead and develop a team of claims professionals to ensure high-quality and efficient claims handling.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize claims processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for financial institution clients and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  6. Analyze claim data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to develop and maintain effective risk management strategies.
  8. Monitor industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure the department is up-to-date and compliant.
  9. Prepare and present reports on claims performance and key metrics to senior management.
  10. Manage and allocate department resources effectively to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  12. Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members.
  13. Handle complex and high-value claims and negotiate settlements when necessary.
  14. Represent the company in meetings with clients, brokers, and other external parties.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Financial Institutions Claims Processes And Procedures, Including Experience Handling Complex And High-Value Claims.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities, With A Track Record Of Driving Results And Achieving Business Objectives.
