- Analyze and evaluate complex insurance risks for large corporate accounts in the Excess Casualty market.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to develop and implement underwriting strategies and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and determine appropriate coverage and pricing for potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in order to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to make informed underwriting decisions.
- Utilize underwriting tools and systems to accurately assess risk and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with claims and legal teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Support product development and innovation initiatives to enhance the company's competitiveness in the market.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of existing accounts and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters to foster their professional growth.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Represent AIG in a professional and positive manner at industry events and conferences.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Brokers.
Knowledge Of Insurance Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Excess Casualty Insurance For Corporate Accounts
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Assess Risk And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions
