- Build and maintain relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders in order to effectively provide solutions and address any concerns.

- Review applications: Carefully review and analyze insurance applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Adhere to regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Negotiate terms: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and brokers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain records: Keep accurate and organized records of all underwriting activities and decisions.
- Provide recommendations: Make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to underwriting processes and procedures.
- Monitor performance: Monitor the performance of existing policies and make adjustments as needed.
- Meet targets: Meet or exceed established targets for underwriting performance and profitability.
- Participate in training: Stay current on industry developments and participate in ongoing training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Represent the company: Serve as a representative for American International Group at industry events and conferences.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Analytical And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Assess Risk And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions.
Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Primary Casualty Insurance, Preferably In The South Central Region.
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Principles, Coverage, And Regulations.
Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients And Brokers In The South Central Region.
