  3. Collaborate with brokers and clients to negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies.
  4. Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate policy coverage and premiums.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  7. Review and analyze underwriting reports to identify potential issues and make necessary adjustments.
  8. Utilize underwriting guidelines and tools to accurately price risks.
  9. Communicate underwriting decisions and policies to brokers and clients.
  10. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of underwriting strategies.
  11. Monitor and manage risk exposures and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  12. Stay informed on market conditions and provide insights and recommendations to support business growth.
  13. Train and mentor junior underwriters as needed.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve underwriting processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Assess Risk And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Marine Underwriting, Preferably In A Commercial Insurance Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Marine Insurance Policies, Regulations, And Industry Trends.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Negotiate And Build Relationships With Clients.
