- Stay informed on market conditions and provide insights and recommendations to support business growth.
- Train and mentor junior underwriters as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Continuously strive to improve underwriting processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Analytical And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Assess Risk And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Marine Underwriting, Preferably In A Commercial Insurance Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Marine Insurance Policies, Regulations, And Industry Trends.
Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Negotiate And Build Relationships With Clients.
