  1. Evaluate and analyze environmental risk for retail clients to determine appropriate insurance coverage and premiums.
  2. Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to make informed decisions on risk assessment.
  3. Collaborate with other underwriters and departments to ensure accurate risk evaluation and coverage recommendations.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to environmental risk.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide exceptional customer service.
  6. Review and analyze complex insurance applications and supporting documents.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  8. Utilize underwriting guidelines and company policies to make sound decisions on risk management.
  9. Monitor and report on the performance of assigned accounts.
  10. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve underwriting processes and procedures.
  11. Work closely with claims team to manage and resolve any issues related to underwriting decisions.
  12. Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations and guidelines.
  13. Continuously assess and improve underwriting practices to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  14. Provide support and guidance to junior underwriters as needed.
  15. Represent American International Group in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Risk Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Environmental And Retail Casualty Insurance.
