If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Travel & A&H Claims Examiner at American International Group (AIG).As a Claims Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' travel and accident & health (A&H) claims are handled efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for investigating and evaluating claims, determining coverage, and negotiating settlements in accordance with company policies and procedures.We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.   1. Review and evaluate travel and A&H insurance claims to determine coverage and eligibility for payment.
  2. Investigate and gather necessary information to support claim decisions.
  3. Analyze and interpret policy language to ensure accurate coverage determination.
  4. Communicate with policyholders, agents, and other parties involved in the claims process to gather information and provide updates on claim status.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
  6. Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority levels.
  7. Identify potential fraudulent claims and take appropriate action to mitigate risk.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to resolve complex claims issues.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance laws and regulations.
  12. Meet or exceed performance metrics for claims handling, including productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  13. Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  15. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Complex And High-Value Claims.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On Travel And Accident & Health Claims.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Coverage, And Regulations Related To Travel And Accident & Health Claims.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Colleagues, And External Stakeholders.
