- Develop and execute strategies to drive profitable growth and expand market share in Western Canada.
- Lead and manage a team of sales and distribution professionals to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales and distribution strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance their sales and distribution skills.
- Identify training and development needs for the team and implement appropriate programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and build relationships.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
- Travel within Western Canada as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Act as a brand ambassador for American International Group, promoting our values and culture.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Insurance Industry, Preferably In Distribution Or Sales.
In-Depth Knowledge Of The Western Canada Market And Its Unique Business Landscape.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing A Distribution Network, Including Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions And Drive Business Results.
