- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and efficiency across the organization.
- Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities to support business objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop sourcing strategies that align with company goals.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and industry best practices to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on sourcing initiatives and cost savings achieved.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers and their capabilities.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the sourcing process.
- Train and mentor sourcing team members to ensure consistent performance and achievement of goals.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Represent AIG in supplier negotiations and maintain a professional and positive relationship with vendors.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Or Supply Chain Management, With A Focus On Corporate Services And Real Estate Categories.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Manage Supplier Relationships.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Sourcing Processes, Cost Analysis, And Contract Management.
Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Project Management Skills.
