In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our underwriters and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our underwriting processes.   1. Support Underwriters: Provide administrative support to the underwriting team by completing various tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and file maintenance.
  2. Ensure Accuracy: Conduct thorough review and analysis of underwriting data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying any potential discrepancies or missing information.
  3. Maintain Organization: Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records, both physical and digital, to ensure efficient retrieval and access for the underwriting team.
  4. Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, agents, and clients, to gather necessary information and provide updates on underwriting processes.
  5. Conduct Research: Conduct research and gather information on potential risks and clients to assist underwriters in making informed decisions.
  6. Analyze Data: Utilize analytical skills to review and interpret data and identify trends or patterns that may impact underwriting decisions.
  7. Adhere to Guidelines: Ensure compliance with all underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  8. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to support and assist with underwriting processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  9. Provide Training: Train and mentor junior underwriting assistants and provide guidance and support as needed.
  10. Continuously Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in underwriting operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Or Insurance Industry.

  • Excellent Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Proficiency In Using Underwriting Software And Other Relevant Technology.
