Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist, Underwriting Support to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the underwriting process by providing technical and administrative support to our underwriting team. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of underwriting principles and processes.   1. Provide technical and administrative support to the underwriting team.
  2. Process and analyze insurance applications and other relevant documentation.
  3. Conduct research and gather information to assist underwriters in making informed decisions.
  4. Review and verify accuracy of data and documents.
  5. Maintain organized and accurate records of underwriting activities.
  6. Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information or resolve issues.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and underwriting guidelines.
  9. Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline processes.
  10. Handle confidential information with discretion.
  11. Assist with training and development of new team members.
  12. Identify and report any risks or potential issues to underwriters.
  13. Support underwriters in preparing quotes and proposals for clients.
  14. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Support, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Underwriting Processes, Policies, And Procedures.
