  1. Evaluate and analyze complex risks to determine appropriate coverage and pricing for insurance policies.
  2. Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure profitable growth and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  3. Utilize underwriting guidelines and procedures to make sound decisions and mitigate risks.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting decisions.
  5. Communicate effectively with brokers, agents, and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  7. Utilize data and analytics to identify potential risks and develop strategies to manage and mitigate them.
  8. Mentor and train junior underwriting professionals to develop their skills and knowledge.
  9. Participate in underwriting meetings and provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, to maintain compliance.
  11. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation within the underwriting process.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-quality clients.
