  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments and underwrite complex insurance policies in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

  3. Evaluate and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and finance, to ensure efficient and effective underwriting processes.
  5. Monitor and manage underwriting portfolio to ensure profitability and compliance with company objectives.
  6. Mentor and train junior underwriters, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence in all underwriting activities.
  8. Utilize underwriting tools and systems to accurately assess and evaluate risks and determine appropriate pricing.
  9. Prepare and present reports on portfolio performance, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and advice to underwriting team on complex cases.
  11. Participate in underwriting committees and working groups to contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting strategies and processes.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact underwriting performance and profitability.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Underwriting Experience, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
