  1. Support Underwriters: Serve as a key support to the underwriting team by assisting with all aspects of the underwriting process, including data gathering, risk analysis, and policy preparation.
  2. Ensure Accuracy: Review and analyze insurance applications, documents, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Communicate Information: Communicate effectively with underwriters to convey any discrepancies or missing information in applications, and follow up to obtain necessary information.
  4. Conduct Research: Conduct research and gather data to assist underwriters in determining risk factors and evaluating potential policies.
  5. Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organized records of policies, applications, and other relevant documents.
  6. Process Policies: Process and issue policies, endorsements, and other policy-related documents in a timely manner.
  7. Provide Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for clients and handle inquiries and requests for information related to policies.
  8. Identify Areas for Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of underwriting procedures.
  9. Stay Updated: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to underwriters.
  10. Mentor Junior Assistants: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriting assistants to ensure their professional growth and development.
  11. Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow and provide support as needed.
  12. Uphold Company Values: Uphold the company's values of exceptional customer service, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks and interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Underwriting Support Or Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Products, Regulations, And Underwriting Guidelines.

  • Excellent Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Underwriting Software Systems.
