- Evaluate and assess risk for commercial insurance clients in the Business Pack division.
- Utilize expertise and knowledge of underwriting principles to make informed decisions.
- Conduct thorough analysis of risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely underwriting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and guidelines to make informed underwriting decisions.

- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure proper risk management and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Train and mentor junior underwriters to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze underwriting data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Extensive Underwriting Experience: A Senior Underwriter - Business Pack At American International Group Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Commercial Insurance, With A Focus On Business Pack Products. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices, Risk Assessment, And Policy Evaluation.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Assess Complex Data, Evaluate Risk, And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions. This Includes The Ability To Interpret Financial Statements, Market Trends, And Industry Regulations.
Knowledge Of Business Pack Products: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of American International Group's Business Pack Products, Including Property, Liability, And Workers' Compensation Coverages. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Specific Underwriting Guidelines And Processes For These Products.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Senior Underwriter, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Agents, Brokers, And Clients To Gather Information And Negotiate Terms.
