  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients and make appropriate underwriting decisions.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Analyze and evaluate complex insurance applications to determine coverage and pricing.
  4. Identify potential risks and make recommendations for risk management strategies.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure efficient and effective underwriting processes.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and constantly improve underwriting knowledge and skills.
  7. Manage a portfolio of accounts and monitor for changes in risk exposure.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriters.
  9. Create and present underwriting proposals and reports to senior management.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and other external stakeholders.
  11. Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and policies.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of underwriting strategies.
  13. Utilize data and analytics to make data-driven underwriting decisions.
  14. Monitor and assess the performance of underwriting processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  15. Continuously strive to achieve profitable growth for the business by identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling to existing clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Underwriting Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Underwriting, Preferably In The Insurance Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex And High-Value Underwriting Portfolios.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrated Ability To Analyze And Evaluate Complex Risks, Make Sound Underwriting Decisions, And Develop Innovative Solutions To Meet Client Needs.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Develop A Team Of Underwriters, Providing Training And Guidance To Junior Underwriters And Managing Workflow And Performance.

  • Risk Management Expertise: Sound Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Practices, With The Ability To Identify And Assess Potential Risks And Develop Strategies To Mitigate Them.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: Effective Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Brokers, And Other Stakeholders. Strong Negotiation Skills To Secure Favorable Terms And Conditions For Aigrm.
