- Oversee a team of claims professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful resolution of complex management liability claims.
- Utilize your expertise in claims management to develop and implement strategies for handling complex claims.
- Monitor and assess the performance of the claims team, providing feedback and coaching to drive results.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as attorneys and underwriters, to develop effective claims management strategies.
- Review and analyze complex claims to identify trends, issues, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers to provide excellent customer service and promote client retention.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends to continuously improve claims handling processes.
- Train and mentor claims professionals to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
- Work closely with other departments, such as legal and finance, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
- Represent the company in mediations, settlement negotiations, and other legal proceedings related to complex claims.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on complex claims to senior management.
- Take a proactive approach to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company.
Extensive Experience In Management Liability Claims: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Handling Complex Claims In The Management Liability Insurance Space, With A Strong Understanding Of The Current Market Trends And Legal Landscape.
Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated Ability To Manage A Team Of Claims Professionals, Providing Guidance And Training To Ensure Efficient And Effective Claims Handling. Experience In Managing And Developing Staff To Achieve Performance Goals And Promote A Positive Work Culture.
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills With The Ability To Effectively Negotiate And Resolve Complex Claims With Various Stakeholders, Including Insureds, Brokers, And Legal Counsel.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Management Liability Products: Comprehensive Understanding Of Coverage And Exclusions In Management Liability Insurance Policies, Including Directors And Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, And Fiduciary Liability.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated Ability To Analyze And Evaluate Complex Claims, Identify Coverage Issues, And Develop Sound Strategies To Achieve Positive Outcomes. Experience In Managing Claims Litigation And Working With Defense Counsel To Develop Effective Defense Strategies.
