- Identify and investigate potential fraudulent activities related to claims.
- Review and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and applicable limits.
- Collaborate with legal department to provide support on litigated claims.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor junior claims analysts on best practices and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of claim activities and decisions.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to share expertise and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to claims handling.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on claims-related issues.
- Analyze data and provide reports to management on claim trends and performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new claims handling procedures and tools.
Extensive Experience In Mass Tort And Complex Coverage Claims: A Senior Claims Analyst Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Handling Mass Tort And Complex Coverage Claims. This Should Include A Strong Understanding Of The Legal And Regulatory Landscape Surrounding These Types Of Claims.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Coverage: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Coverage, Particularly In Relation To Mass Tort And Complex Coverage Claims. This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of Policy Language, Exclusions, And Limitations.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Claims Analyst, The Ability To Analyze Complex Information And Identify Patterns And Trends Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Manage And Resolve Challenging Claims.
