Extensive Knowledge Of Catastrophe Modeling Software: A Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst At American International Group Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry-Leading Catastrophe Modeling Software, Such As Rms And Air. They Should Be Able To Utilize These Tools To Analyze And Assess Various Types Of Risks, Including Natural Disasters, Terrorism, And Cyber Threats.
Advanced Statistical And Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess Advanced Statistical And Analytical Skills, Including Proficiency In Data Manipulation And Modeling. They Should Be Able To Interpret Complex Data Sets And Communicate Their Findings Effectively To Key Stakeholders Within The Organization.
Experience In Insurance Or Reinsurance Industry: A Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Or Reinsurance Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Practices, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of The Insurance Market And Its Associated Risks.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Such As Underwriters, Actuaries, And Claims Professionals.
