- Oversee and manage all reinsurance accounting and reporting processes.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of reinsurance accounting principles.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports related to reinsurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Senior Accountant In Reinsurance Finance At American International Group Should Possess At Least A Bachelor's Degree In Either Accounting Or Finance. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Financial Principles And Can Effectively Handle Complex Financial Tasks.
Cpa Or Equivalent Certification: A Professional Certification Such As Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Chartered Financial Analyst (Cfa) Is Highly Desirable For A Senior Accountant Role At Aig. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Accounting And Finance.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Reinsurance Industry: A Senior Accountant In Reinsurance Finance Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Reinsurance Industry. This Will Enable The Candidate To Have A Deep Understanding Of The Reinsurance Market And Its Unique Financial Aspects.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Accountant At Aig Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Be Able To Analyze Complex Financial Data And Make Sound Financial Decisions. These Skills Are Essential For Identifying And Resolving Any Financial Issues That May Arise In The Reinsurance Business.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Accountant, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Various Teams And Departments Within The Organization.
