  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and brokers in the region to drive profitable growth and increase market share.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in underwriting to evaluate and assess risk, as well as develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales and marketing, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  4. Provide guidance and support to underwriting teams to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  5. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  6. Utilize data and analytics to make sound underwriting decisions and drive profitable growth.
  7. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to stay informed about market changes and potential business opportunities.
  8. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  9. Assist in developing and implementing training programs for underwriting teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote the brand and build relationships.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Property And Casualty Insurance, With A Focus On Builders Risk

  • Strong Knowledge Of Construction Industry And Risk Management Principles

  • Demonstrated Track Record Of Successful Relationship Building And Management With Brokers And Clients In The Lexington, Ky Region

  • Excellent Analytical And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Evaluate Risk And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions To Drive Profitable Growth.
