  1. Conduct actuarial analyses and develop pricing strategies for personal lines products in the Asia-Pacific region.
  2. Collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business plans.
  3. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations for product development and pricing adjustments.
  4. Analyze and evaluate risk exposures to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place.
  5. Utilize actuarial models and tools to forecast and monitor profitability and performance of personal lines products.
  6. Review and approve rate filings and other regulatory submissions.
  7. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and industry associations.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of actuarial professionals to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  10. Stay informed of relevant industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance in all actuarial work.
  11. Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in actuarial work.
  12. Collaborate with other regional and global teams to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
  13. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and build relationships.
  14. Keep up-to-date with advancements in actuarial science and technology and apply them to improve actuarial processes and methodologies.
  15. Uphold the company's values and maintain high ethical standards in all actuarial work.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Actuarial Background: A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Personal Lines Actuarial Work, With A Focus On The Asia Pacific Region. This Includes Experience With Pricing, Reserving, And Portfolio Analysis.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Actuaries, Providing Guidance And Support To Ensure Accurate And Timely Completion Of Projects. Experience In Training And Developing Junior Staff Is Also Preferred.

  • Regional Market Knowledge: In-Depth Knowledge Of The Insurance Market In The Asia Pacific Region, Including Understanding Of Local Regulations, Competitive Landscape, And Consumer Trends. This Will Be Essential In Developing And Implementing Effective Pricing Strategies.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency In Data Analysis And Modeling, With The Ability To Use Statistical Software And Actuarial Tools To Perform Complex Analyses. Must Be Able To Identify Trends, Patterns, And Potential Risks In Large Datasets.

  • Communication And Collaboration: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Actuarial Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Must Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Business Objectives.
