Quality Assurance Senior Manager – Underwriting Operations

- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and processes for the Underwriting Operations team.
- Review and evaluate underwriting policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure they are aligned with company standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of underwriting processes and documentation to identify any areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and insights on underwriting trends and issues, and use this information to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Train and mentor underwriters on quality assurance standards and procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to underwriting quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Identify and address any gaps or deficiencies in underwriting training and development, and work with HR to implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in underwriting practices, and ensure compliance within the team.
- Lead and facilitate meetings and discussions with team members and other stakeholders to communicate quality assurance initiatives and results.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of underwriting operations.
Extensive Experience In Underwriting Operations: The Ideal Candidate For The Quality Assurance Senior Manager Position At Aig Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Operations, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Regulatory Requirements.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Quality Assurance Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Motivate, Mentor, And Provide Guidance To Team Members.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Quality Assurance Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Quality Assurance Processes And Methodologies, Including The Ability To Design, Implement, And Monitor Quality Control Procedures.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Provide Actionable Insights To Improve Underwriting Operations.
