  1. Develop and implement governance and portfolio management strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  2. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Program Management Office (PMO).
  3. Lead and mentor a team of project managers and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to successfully deliver projects.
  4. Act as a liaison between the PMO and other departments within the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  6. Monitor and track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  7. Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status and progress.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in project management and incorporate them into the PMO's processes and procedures.
  10. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established project management standards and guidelines.
  11. Develop and deliver presentations to senior management on the PMO's performance, project status, and recommendations for improvement.
  12. Continuously monitor and assess the PMO's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and drive initiatives to enhance project delivery and governance processes.
  14. Collaborate with other PMO leaders within the organization to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
  15. Act as a role model and champion for project management excellence within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven Experience In Program And Project Management: The Pmo Leader Must Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Programs And Projects, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Expertise In Governance And Portfolio Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Governance Frameworks And Portfolio Management Principles, As Well As Experience Implementing Them Within An Organization.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Leader In The Pmo, The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels, Including Senior Management, To Drive The Success Of The Program Management Function.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Pmo Leader Must Be Able To Think Strategically And Identify Opportunities For Improvement And Growth Within The Organization. They Should Also Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Challenges That May Arise.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Standards: It Is Essential For The Pmo Leader To Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Industry Best Practices, Methodologies, And Standards Related To Program And Project Management, As Well As Governance And Portfolio Management. This Knowledge Will Help Guide Decision-Making And Ensure Compliance With Industry Regulations.
