- Utilize various investigative techniques, including interviews, site visits, and surveillance, to gather crucial information.
- Document all findings and maintain accurate and organized records of investigations.
- Collaborate with other members of the claims team to identify potential fraudulent claims and take appropriate action.
- Communicate investigation findings and recommendations to management and other relevant parties.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for claims investigation.
- Provide training and guidance to junior investigators and claims staff.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Make recommendations for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of claims investigations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to claims investigations.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards in all investigations and interactions.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the field of claims investigation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to identify potential areas of risk and implement preventative measures.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Claims Investigation, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Coverage, And Claims Processes.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Decisions Based On Complex Information.
Leadership Experience And The Ability To Manage A Team Of Claims Investigators.
