  1. Manage and oversee complex insurance claims related to marine hull and liability policies.
  2. Utilize expertise in marine insurance to accurately assess and process claims.
  3. Work closely with a team of industry experts to resolve complex issues and provide high-quality service to clients.
  4. Conduct thorough investigations and gather all necessary information to determine coverage and liability.
  5. Analyze policy coverage and interpret insurance contracts to determine appropriate compensation for claims.
  6. Communicate with clients, brokers, and other internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and progress on claims.
  7. Negotiate and settle claims within established authority levels.
  8. Evaluate potential fraud and take appropriate action to mitigate risk.
  9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and related activities.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency in claims handling.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
  12. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines while handling claims.
  13. Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  14. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other company activities as required.
  15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Relationships With Clients, Brokers, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Marine Insurance Claims Adjusting, With A Focus On Hull And Liability Complex Claims.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Marine Insurance Policies And Regulations, Including Coverage And Claims Handling Procedures.

  • Proven Experience In Handling Complex And High-Value Claims, With A Track Record Of Successfully Resolving Disputes And Achieving Favorable Outcomes.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Maritime Law, Insurance, Or Business Administration. Professional Certifications, Such As Cpcu Or Aic, Are Also Preferred.
