Job Description

At American International Group, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Manager of Executive Compensation to join our dynamic team.   1. Develop and implement executive compensation strategies and programs that are aligned with AIG's business objectives and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to stay current on market trends and competitor practices, and make recommendations for updates or changes to AIG's executive compensation plans.
  3. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand their needs and priorities, and design compensation packages that attract and retain top executive talent.
  4. Oversee the administration of executive compensation plans, including base salary, annual and long-term incentive programs, and equity awards.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to executive compensation.
  6. Partner with HR and other departments to communicate and educate employees on AIG's executive compensation programs and ensure transparency and understanding.
  7. Lead the annual executive compensation review process, including benchmarking, data analysis, and communication of decisions to executives.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external compensation consultants, vendors, and other industry professionals to stay informed of emerging trends and best practices.
  9. Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on compensation-related matters, including new hires, promotions, and other compensation-related decisions.
  10. Manage a team of compensation professionals and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure their continued growth and success.
  11. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AIG's executive compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
  12. Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of executive compensation data.
  13. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive compensation information.
  14. Continuously review and update policies and procedures related to executive compensation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other HR and business functions on executive compensation matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Compensation Management, Preferably In A Large, Multinational Organization.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Executive Compensation Principles, Practices, And Regulations.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.

  • Proven Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience In Managing A Team And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
