  1. Lead the Claim Intake Department and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and accurate processing of claims.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve and streamline claim intake processes.
  3. Manage a team of claim intake specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
  4. Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Claims, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate claim intake processes.
  7. Act as a point of contact for escalations and complex claim intake issues, effectively resolving them in a timely manner.
  8. Foster a customer-centric culture within the department, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to clients.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive growth and development.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Participate in departmental budget planning and manage expenses to meet financial targets.
  12. Represent the company in a professional manner to clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the claim intake process.
  15. Collaborate with IT to implement and maintain claim intake systems and tools.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Claims Handling Or Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients And Internal Stakeholders.
