- Lead the Claim Intake Department and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and accurate processing of claims.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve and streamline claim intake processes.
- Manage a team of claim intake specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Claims, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate claim intake processes.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and complex claim intake issues, effectively resolving them in a timely manner.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the department, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to clients.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in departmental budget planning and manage expenses to meet financial targets.
- Represent the company in a professional manner to clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the claim intake process.
- Collaborate with IT to implement and maintain claim intake systems and tools.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Procedures, And Regulations.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Claims Handling Or Insurance Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients And Internal Stakeholders.
