- Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective management of the assumed claims portfolio.
- Oversee a team of claims adjusters and analysts, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in claims, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in the handling of claims.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and reinsurers.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Finance, to develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Review and approve settlement offers, ensuring they are in line with company guidelines and standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations, and make necessary adjustments to claims handling processes.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to promote professional growth and development.
- Act as a liaison between the claims team and senior management, providing regular updates on the status of the assumed claims portfolio.
- Handle escalated or complex claims, and ensure timely and fair resolution for all claims.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track the team's performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of the assumed claims portfolio.
- Participate in industry conferences and networking events to stay informed about best practices and industry trends.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Management.
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills.
Experience In Managing A Team And Handling Multiple Complex Claims Simultaneously.
