  1. Investigate and evaluate major loss claims related to the aviation industry, utilizing expert knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of claims to determine coverage, liability, and potential damages.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and legal counsel, to gather necessary information and negotiate settlements.
  4. Utilize strong analytical skills to review and interpret complex aviation and insurance documents, such as policies, contracts, and regulations.
  5. Provide guidance and support to team members and act as a mentor for less experienced adjusters.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all claim activities, including written reports and financial data.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve claim handling processes and procedures.
  8. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the claims process, including insureds, brokers, and third-party vendors.
  9. Manage a caseload of high-value and complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  10. Uphold AIG's standards of excellence and professionalism while representing the company in all interactions related to claims.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other departments within AIG, such as underwriting and risk management, to provide insight and support on aviation-related matters.
  13. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in claims handling.
  15. Uphold AIG's reputation as a leader in the insurance industry by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
