Job Description

  1. Assist underwriters in evaluating risks by gathering and analyzing relevant data and information.
  2. Prepare and maintain accurate underwriting files and documentation.
  3. Conduct research and gather market intelligence to support underwriting decisions.
  4. Communicate with agents, brokers, and clients to obtain necessary information and answer inquiries.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of underwriting tasks.
  6. Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to assist in risk assessment.
  8. Support the creation and implementation of underwriting strategies and guidelines.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with discretion.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the underwriting team.
