  1. Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of risks associated with financial lines insurance policies.
  2. Review and evaluate new and renewal applications based on established underwriting guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with senior underwriters to develop and implement underwriting strategies for the financial lines portfolio.
  4. Communicate with brokers and clients to gather necessary information and address any concerns or questions.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed underwriting records and documentation.
  6. Utilize underwriting systems and tools to input and track policy information.
  7. Monitor industry trends and developments to stay informed about changes in the financial lines market.
  8. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  10. Contribute to the achievement of team and company goals by meeting individual underwriting targets and maintaining high-quality underwriting standards.
  11. Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and risk management, to ensure a seamless and efficient underwriting process.
  13. Proactively identify and report potential risks and issues to senior management.
  14. Represent the company and promote a positive image at industry events and meetings.
  15. Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and actively contribute ideas to enhance processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Colleagues.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • 1-2 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Financial Lines Products, Preferably At A Reputable Insurance Company.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance Industry Regulations And Policies, Including Experience With Compliance And Risk Management.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Evaluate Complex Financial Data.
