- Develop and implement strategic plans for all transactional activities in the Americas region.
- Oversee and manage all financial transactions, including investments, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to senior leadership on transactional activities and related risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all transactions.
- Lead and mentor a team of transactional professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Develop and maintain effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks associated with transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions and achieve desired business outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to optimize performance.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends to inform decision-making and improve overall business strategies.
- Represent the company in external meetings and negotiations related to transactions.

Extensive Experience In The Financial Services Industry: The Ideal Candidate For The Head Of Transactions, Americas Role At American International Group (Aig) Should Have A Strong Background In The Financial Services Industry With A Deep Understanding Of The North And South American Markets. This Experience Should Include Working With Various Financial Products And Services, As Well As Managing Large Transactional Portfolios.
Leadership And Management Skills: Aig Is A Global Company With A Large Team Of Professionals Operating In The Americas Region.
