- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of field operations within the Workers' Compensation Claims division.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of field operations, including but not limited to, claim investigation, evaluation, and resolution.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of field operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to develop and implement best practices for claims handling.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and other external stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on claims.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and accurate claims handling.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to workers' compensation claims and incorporate them into operations as needed.
Extensive Experience In Workers' Compensation Claims: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Handling Workers' Compensation Claims. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of State Laws And Regulations Related To Workers' Compensation Claims, As Well As Experience In Managing High Volume Claims.
Knowledge Of Field Operations Management: The Head Of Field Operations Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Operational Aspects Of Managing Workers' Compensation Claims In The Field. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategies To Improve Efficiency, Productivity, And Customer Service.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Has A Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Motivate And Inspire A Team To Achieve Common Goals.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Head Of Field Operations Must Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Workers' Compensation Claims. They Should Also Be Able To Make Data-Driven Decisions To Improve Processes And Drive Better Outcomes.
Proactive Approach To Risk Management: In This Role, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Claims Adjusters Who Handle High-Risk Workers' Compensation Claims.
