  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the claims department in line with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of claims professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
  • Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to improve overall business performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Oversee the handling of complex or high-value claims and provide guidance to team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain efficient claims processes to ensure timely and accurate claims handling.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their career development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and increase market presence.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and provide regular reports on claims performance and key metrics.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Claims Management: The Ideal Candidate For The Head Of Claims Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Claims Management, Preferably In The Insurance Industry. This Should Include Experience In Managing Complex And High-Value Claims, As Well As Leading A Team Of Claims Professionals.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Thai Insurance Regulations: As A Key Leadership Role In The Thai Market, The Head Of Claims Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of The Local Insurance Regulations And Compliance Requirements. This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of The Insurance Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines Set By The Office Of Insurance Commission (Oic).

  • Excellent Leadership And Management Skills: The Role Of Head Of Claims Requires A Strong Leader Who Can Effectively Manage A Team Of Claims Professionals And Drive Them Towards Achieving Business Goals. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Building And Leading High-Performing Teams, As Well As Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: In This Role, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Assessing And Managing Complex Claims, Which Requires Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Data, Identify Trends, And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Claims Processes And Outcomes.

  • Multitasking And Time Management Abilities: The Head Of Claims Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Wide Range Of Claims Activities, From Processing And Settlement To Fraud Investigations And Customer Service. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Multitasking And Time Management Abilities, Able To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Tight Deadlines While Maintaining High-Quality Standards.
