- Develop and drive the overall DevOps strategy for the organization, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Identify and implement best practices for DevOps, including automation, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that support the company's digital transformation.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of DevOps tools and technologies, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze DevOps metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in DevOps, making recommendations for new technologies and approaches to enhance the organization's practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners, both internal and external, to support the growth and success of the DevOps practice.
- Lead and facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for DevOps within the organization, promoting its benefits and driving adoption across teams and departments.
Extensive Experience In Devops: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Devops, With A Deep Understanding Of Its Principles, Processes, And Practices. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Devops Initiatives In A Global Organization.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Global Head Of Devops Practice, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Devops Professionals Across Different Regions. They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Team Members, Foster Collaboration, And Drive Results.
Global Mindset: Aig Is A Multinational Organization With A Presence In Over 80 Countries. The Global Head Of Devops Practice Should Have A Global Mindset, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Teams And Navigate Cultural Differences. Experience In Managing Devops Teams In A Global Setting Is Highly Desirable.
Strategic Thinking: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Think Strategically And Develop A Long-Term Vision For The Devops Practice At Aig. They Should Be Able To Identify Opportunities For Improvement, Establish Goals And Objectives, And Develop Plans To Achieve Them. Experience In Developing And Implementing Devops Strategies At A Global Level Is A Plus.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Global Head Of Devops Practice Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Stakeholders At All Levels, Including Senior Management, Business Partners, And Technical Teams. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
