- Lead and manage the actuarial department, providing oversight and guidance to a team of actuaries.
- Utilize expert knowledge and skills in actuarial science to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and ensure financial stability.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of insurance data and market trends to make sound business decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to develop and execute pricing strategies, product development, and risk management initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, and ensure compliance in all actuarial processes and practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and external partners.
- Develop and present reports and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on actuarial analysis.
- Mentor and develop junior actuaries, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Manage and oversee actuarial projects, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Continuously assess and improve actuarial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and advancements in actuarial science and incorporate them into the organization's strategies and practices.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and seminars, promoting AIG's actuarial capabilities and expertise.
Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.
Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Fsa) Or Equivalent Credentials From A Recognized Actuarial Society.
At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On Actuarial Analysis And Risk Management.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Actuaries, Analysts, And Other Professionals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Actuarial Principles And Practices, Including Pricing, Reserving, And Financial Reporting.
