Job Description

You will prepare collateral release forms and other materials that may be appropriate as well as obtain information as may be requested by Credit Officers. You will process and make recommendations to Credit Officers for collateral changes (returns, releases &/or internal transfers) for the Commercial Casualty credit portfolio. Analyzing audited, pro forma and projected financial statements, offering memorandums, bank books and D&B reports. Prepare high quality, written credit reviews that will include analysis of companies' financial condition, evaluation of companies' future prospects and recommendations as to a rating score and suggested credit exposure, if warranted. As appropriate, the Credit Analyst will participate in conference calls and meetings with both internal and external credit and financial executives. Prepare industry studies, credit committee applications and account briefing reports as well as evaluate security and credit exposures. Interact with various departments regarding credit, collateral, accounting, receivable, legal and actuarial issues.

Job Qualifications
  • An MBA (or credits towards an MBA) &/or formal bank credit training would be desirable.

  • Some full-time, direct corporate credit analytical experience at a commercial or investment bank
