As a Complex Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate settlements. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.   1. Investigate complex insurance claims and determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions.
  2. Evaluate and analyze documentation, including medical records, witness statements, and other evidence, to accurately assess claim value.
  3. Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status.
  4. Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  5. Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation and take appropriate action.
  6. Document all claim activities and decisions in a thorough and organized manner.
  7. Collaborate with internal departments, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure proper handling of complex claims.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve claims handling processes.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive relationships with clients and promote brand loyalty.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, when handling claims.
  11. Mentor and train junior claims examiners to improve overall team performance.
  12. Attend trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for complex claims inquiries from team members and other departments.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new claims handling strategies and initiatives.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Complex Claims Handling, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Insurance, Finance, Or Business.

  • Strong Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Coverage, Including Complex Commercial Lines.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Complex Decisions And Negotiate Resolutions.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Clients, Colleagues, And Other Stakeholders.
